Kelly ElliotT |
Stagecoach began building its name and reputation in Hastings, MI where we were located on an original Stagecoach run, sourcing back to 1848. There, I raised my son and our puppies on 40 acres of land brimming with natural beauty.
Today, we are now located on the East Coast of Florida where we continue to raise our puppies with state-of-the-art puppy nurseries, brightly painted, with all the necessary puppy rearing amenities. With its peaceful surroundings and slower pace of life, our property offers the perfect spot to bring life into the world. As a practiced and educated social worker, with experience in psychiatric hospitals servicing children, adolescents, and disabled adults, I developed a guardian and advocacy program for disabled Veterans called Elliott Advocacy Services, which I administered for a decade and a half. Passionate about helping others, it parallels with my breeding program as they both involve patience, diligence, empathy, and authenticity. We are proud to give our puppies the best possible start. Growing up, we had a family dog "Mi-Mi", a Poodle mix. She had a unique, intelligent charisma, and I compared every dog I encountered to her, yet none measured up. My breeding story unfolded with Labrador Retrievers, specifically from working and hunting lines. I quickly found that my son and I are allergic to dogs that have fur (shedding dogs). Therefore, I decided to purchase our first Standard Poodle, "Winchester.” I quickly found the traits that I loved and cherished in "Mi-Mi" were poodle qualities. "Winchester" went on to stamp his puppies with his virtues and we continue to add more poodles to our breeding program. I am forever hooked on the Poodles. It is our intention to be able to offer our customers who are allergy sufferers an alternative to shedding dogs. Through extensive research and progress with our breeding program, we are happy to offer breeding quality poodles to Doodle and Poodle programs who share ethical breeding practices including but not limited to genetic health testing, OFA certifications along with ensuring sound temperaments and structure. We also assist our customers with choosing the proper color genetics to suit their breeding programs goals for colors desired. |
GARRETT ElliotT |
My son and assistant, Garrett Elliott, is invaluable to our program. Growing up with animals, he has confidence and demeanor with our pack and is completely comfortable handling our Dogs and Puppies. He is often involved in the day-to-day aspects of our breeding program and is experienced in whelping along with the necessary knowledge required for the developmental stages of the puppies. Garrett is also great at lending a hand with grooming and bathing. Garrett's personal dog is "Catton" who is the Dam of Lochlan. "Catton" has been a great companion for Garrett and the love she has for him lights up the whole room. "Catton" is retired and assists us in properly socializing the puppies. If you visit us, you're likely to be met at the door by Garrett and "Catton."

Poodles are considered one of the most intelligent dog breed. Ranking second in canine intelligence, the typical poodle loves to learn and is quick to comprehend new things. They are eager to please, athletic, and extremely loyal. In fact, the loyalty of the poodle has earned the nickname, "Velcro Dog." They love to please their humans and are born with amazing agility. Be prepared to make room in your bed for your new poodle. They will certainly make their way into every inch of your heart!
For those seeking an alternative to the Poodle, we offer Labradoodles. Although not AKC registered, we maintain rigorous standards for our Doodle lines and incorporate all the same genetic testing mandated in our Poodle parents. If your ideal dog does not align with a Poodle, a Doodle is a fantastic option, as they shed minimally, or not at all, and encompass a lot of the same Poodle qualities. Crossing the Poodle with other breeds to create a Doodle is like asking a person if they would like nicer, thicker hair, more agility in their step, more enthusiasm in their pep, and last but not least more brains for intelligence. The finished product is a puppy who is easy to train, sheds minimally, and is versatile and adaptable to different lifestyles. |
